Google Desktop 2 (Beta)

The breaking news this morning is that Google has released their newest version of Desktop Search called Google Desktop 2 (now in beta). It uses a sidebar format and apparently does a lot more than just search; it also integrates email status, webfeeds reader, weather and stock reports and even a little picture slideshow thingamajig.
